About Last Flight Out

Good cigars.
Far places.
Clearer thoughts.

Last Flight Out is a cigar house from Key West, Florida — the last stop before open water. Every cigar we make is named after a legend of the sky, and every one is meant for the moment when the day is done and the mind finally clears.

The terminal

Where the road runs out,
the flight begins.

Key West sits at Mile 0 of U.S. Route 1 — the southern end of the road, where the islands give way to the Gulf and the Atlantic. For generations it has been a place people come to slow down, look at the horizon and leave something behind.

That is the feeling we put into every box. Not a cigar you rush between meetings, but one you save for the last light of the day: on a porch, on a dock, after a long flight home. A state of mind more than a product.

The name

Why “Last Flight Out”.

Every airport has one: the last departure of the night. The terminal is quiet, the runway lights are on, and the people who board it have decided the day is over. Whatever is left behind can wait until morning.

That is the moment we built the brand around. Not the rush to catch a flight — the calm after you have made it. Light up, sit back, and let the mind clear. A state of mind, more than a schedule.

The fleet

Ten aircraft.
Ten characters.

From the B-2 Spirit to the P-51 Mustang, each cigar in the collection carries the name of an aircraft — or a payload — that changed the history of flight. The name sets the character: the format, the presence, the attitude in the hand.

What goes into a Last Flight Out

One fleet. Three wrappers.

Connecticut

Smooth, mild and refined — a wrapper tradition rooted in the Connecticut River Valley. The gentle way into any aircraft in the fleet.

Habano

Richer and fuller, with a distinctive aroma, from tobacco with Cuban seed heritage. The signature of the collection.

Maduro

Dark and well-matured, developed through curing and fermentation. Natural depth for the evenings that call for it.

Not for everyone

The 20th Anniversary Collection

The whole fleet, bundled in boxes of 5 and 10 and tied with the Last Flight Out ribbon. Made for the collector, the gift that has to mean something, and the friends you only see a few times a year.
